Boaters across southeast Queensland and northeastern New South Wales can expect generally calm conditions this weekend, with light winds, low swell and no rain or storms forecast.
Easterly winds are expected to remain light at around 10 to 15 knots, with occasional gusts reaching up to 20 knots on Saturday. Conditions are considered reasonable for those keen to get back out on the water this weekend.
Swell along the southeast Queensland coast is forecast to sit between 0.5 and 1 metre, increasing slightly further south. Along the northeastern New South Wales coast, swell heights are expected to be higher, ranging from 1 to 1.5 metres.
Tidal conditions will remain relatively stable across the weekend. Larger tides are expected during the morning hours, with smaller tides developing later in the afternoon and evening. Moderate tidal swings are likely, though nothing extreme is anticipated.
Conditions will stay dry throughout the weekend, with no rain or thunderstorms expected to impact coastal waters through the weekend.
