Gold & Sunshine Coast Report issued at 5.55am Monday 10th June 2024

Surf & Beach Report

Weather Forecast: Another beautiful early winter day, sunny, with a top temperature of 22-23°

Wind Forecast: 5-10kts NW/SW early, freshening a little through the morning, easing to about 10kts this afternoon and possibly swinging NE, if like yesterday, the sea breeze effect comes into play

Swell: 0.5m E/SE

Tides: Mooloolaba: Low @ 5.13am & 4.07pm … High @ 10.34am

Snapper Rocks: Low @ 5.02am & 3.26pm … High @ 10.35am

Best waves: Another day of small waves on the beach breaks. The points are really small and either side of mid morning high tide, will be a bit full, but early this morning and through the afternoon on the lower parts of the tide, when there’s less water on the banks, they’ll be better, but don’t expect too much. For some surfing history, check the daily videos from the Coastwatch Vault at the bottom of this page

Best Beaches: Another sunny day is expected and most beaches will be pleasant. The forecast air temperature is 22-23° and water temperature is about 21-22°. There’s inshore holes and gutters along the open stretches of beach and any rips and sweep working around them, will be enhanced as the water drains off the beach on the late morning to afternoon ebb tide, so swim in the patrolled areas marked by the red and yellow flags
