This video from the Coastwatch Vault is a compilation of 2 stories we did on Kerry Ireland, who won the 16ft Hobie Cat World Championship 3 times on the trot. The first part of the video is after her win in 1994, the second part is on her wins in 1996 & 1998. This is an amazing sporting achievement and shows what can happen when skill, ingenuity and determination are applied. These days Kerry is retired from competitive sailing and is enjoying life on the Gold Coast.
