Barramundi are one of Australia’s most iconic native sportfish and while most anglers release more than they keep there is no harm in taking the odd fish for the table. Obviously check your local regulations for size and bag limits. Fresh barramundi that have been treated well after capture taste great and there are many ways to cook them. But first you need to fillet the fish you have caught. So here Luke Fallon from Luke Fallon Sport and Game Fishing demonstrates his preferred method of filleting barramundi. This method can be translated to several other species including the USA Snook.
