From the Coastwatch Vault, this story we shot in February 1998 has good tips on catching mud crabs in Hayes Inlet off the Pine River Wayne Olsen and Darren Purcell. These guys know their stuff and show a really easy way to tie a mud crab after it’s been caught, using a plastic bag. Although it was shot some time ago, the technique they use still works today.
