Andrew Coronis – Blue Marlin

This video was shot using 2 GoPro’s on the continental shelf east of Cape Moreton aboard Brisbane charter boat Megumi, a 44ft Assegai. The angler is Brisbane real estate agent Andrew Coronis, who had wanted to catch a blue marlin for a long time. For a first time angler using heavy tackle in a fighting chair, his technique was really good. The fish weighed about 280lbs and was released. You can see from Andrew’s reaction after it was let go that he was absolutely stoked.
