Anyone who uses any amount of braid is gonna know the cut finger syndrome from grabbing this stuff and trying to pull your notch type without these little devices. These are fantastically made little aluminium tubes with a grippy surface on them.

F.G. knots in particular and albrights and things like that. You need to cinch the knot down very, very tight to get the maximum strength out of the knot.

And traditionally, wrapping it around your hands and everything like that, eventually you’re gonna get yourself a mega cut with it. Braid cuts like a laser.

With these, you wrap your mono around one side, wrap your braid around the other, and it won’t slip. And you can pull as hard as you can to cinch that knot down really, really tight.

They’re one of those products, you don’t know how much you need it until you use it. And then you wonder, where have you been all my life?

These things are absolutely fantastic. Every fisherman, every sports fisherman, worth his salt, needs a good knot puller. These ones are from Tasline.
