Gold & Sunshine Coast Report issued at 5.55am Wednesday 12th June 2024
Weather Forecast: Mostly sunny, with a top temperature of 24°
Wind Forecast: 5-10kts NW/SW early, becoming 10-15kts during the morning and tending SW this afternoon
Swell: 0.25-0.5m E/SE
Tides: Mooloolaba: Low @ 6.45am & 5.54pm … High @ 12.15pm
Snapper Rocks: Low @ 6.25am & 5.44pm … High @ 12.17pm
Best waves: The swell is tiny and there’s not much doing apart from maybe a few tiny beach breaks on the open beaches. Not worth the drive if you have to travel
For some surfing history, check the daily videos from the Coastwatch Vault at the bottom of this page
Best Beaches: A mostly sunny day with a top temperature is 24° is expected. The water temperature is about 21°. There’s inshore holes and gutters along the open stretches of beach and any rips and sweep working around them, will be enhanced as the water drains off the beach on the afternoon ebb tide, so despite the small swell, swim in the patrolled areas marked by the red and yellow flags
