Weather Forecast: The BOM is forecasting a mostly sunny day, with a top temperature of 20-21°

Wind Forecast: 5-10kts SW/NW early, forecast to become W/NW during the morning

Swell: 0.75-1m Easterly

Tides: High @ 6am & 7pm … Low @ 12.15pm

Best waves: With light W/NW winds forecast for today, there’ll be waves on the beach breaks and points, which are a bit full early, but will be better on the lower parts of the tide, when there’s less water on the banks

Best Beaches: A mostly sunny day is expected and most beaches will be pleasant. However, being winter it is getting quite cool. 20-21° is the forecast air temperature today and the water temp is about 22°. There’s inshore holes and gutters along the open stretches of beach and any rips and sweep working around those features, will be enhanced as the water drains off the beach on the morning ebb tide, so swim in the patrolled areas marked by the red and yellow flags
