PROJECT BOAT REVEAL – The boat we thought we’d never see!
Well that didn’t quite go to plan. As you would have seen in our earlier videos we were working with Integra Marine to produce a 5.2m flats skiff project boat. The boat was commissioned in October 2021 to be completed by Xmas that year. Well when the company shifted premises and we still didn’t have a boat by Xmas 2022 we were starting to get worried. Rumours were rife that the company were in financial difficulty and with an annual trip planned to Lake Monduran all we could do was visit the factory every day until we got our boat. At least we got a boat albeit not 100% finished before the company closed its doors. Our sincere thoughts are with the many people that lost deposits as a result of poor business management it appears. While the entire experience can be described as a nightmare the actual boat is good and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have a boat at all.
