From the Coastwatch Vault, this Clint Hempsall creature feature produced in the winter of 1997 is on the research into mullet stocks, breeding and growth rates that was being undertaken at the time. The results of that research was that the ocean beach mullet fishery was sustainable. Research undertaken since then has provided the same result.
