From the Coastwatch Vault, this John Charlton story from December 1996 is on Bryan Weir’s dog Max. From the time he was a pup, Max loved the dawn trip to the beach or going fishing with Bryan. He took to surfing when was pretty young and did it for many years. These days there’s a lot of surfing dogs, but Max was one of the first. Sadly he passed away in April 2013.
