From July 1996 this surfer profile by John Charlton on Jean Marie Lartigau. Jean Marie is originally from the Basque Coast of France and was the French surfing champion from 1962 to 1968. His travels brought him to Australia in the early 70’s and he settled on the Gold Coast. Apart from being a good surfer he is also a pretty handy artist.
