Flat Rock – Clint Hempsall

This Clint Hempsall dive site profile from the Coastwatch Vault is on one of southern Queensland’s most popular dives, Flat Rock off Point Lookout on the northern end of North Stradbroke Island. There’s a variety of terrain and marine life and depths vary from 7 to 30m. Visibility is usually 15m or better, but being an exposed area, current and surge can be a problem, so it’s best to dive Flat Rock with an experienced operator
