Duranbah – July 1994

Duranbah or D’bah is one of the hardest breaking waves in Qld. The crew who surf it are usually the cream of the crop and when we shot this story in July 1994 was the place where surfers who would go on to greatness were honing their skills. There’s also a bunch of surfers who just surf the hell out of the place cos it’s their local break.
