From September 1995 this surfer profile from John Charlton on Gold Coast surfer Chris “Swag” Gudenswager. His father Ken was the man behind Adlers Surf Centre in Brisbane and Spirit of the Sea surf boards and surf shop. His grandfather Frank Adler is credited with building the first wooden 16ft hollow board in Australia and his uncle is Ken Adler founded San Juan Surfboards and for many years was at the forefront of Australian surfing.
