From the Coast Vault this video shot at the southern end of Moreton Island in June 1996 has tips from Brownie on catching luderick, something his father taught him to do as a child. There is quite a bit to it in terms of tackle and technique and is sadly a dying art. If you would like to learn how to do it, this video is worth watching. It also includes tips on filleting your catch to avoid the weedy taste some people complain about
