Fishing Report

Hervey Bay

Pearl perch, snapper, trevally, cobia, yellowtail king and amberjack east of Breaksea Spit, snapper and grassy sweetlip early morning on the inshore reefs, dart, whiting and tailor in the surf at Fraser Island, school mackerel, mack tuna and mulloway off the Urangan Jetty, barramundi in the Mary River, flathead at River Heads, sand crabs in the western and eastern bays and mud crabs in the creeks. A new zoning plan for the Great Sandy Marine Park will be effective from 21 May 2024.  For more information: –
