Hervey Bay

Blue marlin on the Continental Shelf east of Fraser Island, sailfish about 13nm east of Wide Bay Bar, school mackerel throughout the bay, snapper and golden trevally on the inshore reefs, sand whiting in Shell Gutter, at Shoulder Point, Toogoom and Burrum Heads, flathead, grunter bream and mangrove jack in the creeks on the western side of Fraser Island, mangrove jack, barramundi, grunter bream, whiting and tailor in the Burrum River and barramundi and threadfin salmon in the Mary and Susan Rivers.
