Snapper, a few grassy sweetlip and coral trout on the inshore reefs, longtail and mack tuna in the shipping channels and near the artificial reefs, bream, flathead and grunter bream along the flats on the western side of Fraser Island, bream, tailor, flathead and grunter bream in Sandy Straits, sand whiting on the making tide along the beaches from Burrum Heads to Urangan, flathead at the mouth of the creeks and bream, mangrove jack and barramundi in the Burrum River.
