Gold & Sunshine Coast Report issued at 5.55am Wednesday 26th June 2024
Weather Forecast: Partly cloudy and a top temperature of 23-24°
Wind Forecast: 5-10kts W/SW early, becoming variable in the morning and N/NE This afternoon
Swell: 0.5m SE/E
Tides: Mooloolaba: Low @ 5.40am & 4.58pm … High @ 11.12am
Snapper Rocks: Low @ 5.35am & 4.55pm … High @ 11.18am
Best waves: Another day of small swell and once again, early this morning while the wind is light W/SW, the best options will be small waves on the points on the lower part of the tide, or on the beach breaks. If the wind swings light SE/NE during the day as predicted, wave quality will deteriorate.
Best Beaches: It looks like a nice day for the beach. The water temperature is about 19° and although the swell is small, there’s inshore holes and gutters along the open stretches of beach and any rips and sweep working around them, will be enhanced as the water drains off the beach on the late morning and afternoon ebb tides, so swim in the patrolled areas marked by the red and yellow flags
