Best waves:

With the winds being light SW/S early, there’s waves on the beach breaks and the points, although with the approaching morning high tide, it’s a bit full on the points, particularly in the inner bays at Noosa. It will improve as the tide falls off during the morning

Best Beaches:

The forecast is for a partly cloudy day with a 30-40% chance of showers. Don’t be fooled into thinking that because it’s cloudy or partly cloudy, you can’t get sunburnt. You can and will, so use sun protection

The best time for a swim will be this morning around the top of the tide and the best beaches for it will be Main Beach Noosa, Mooloolaba, the corner at Burleigh, Greenmount and Kirra. This morning through to early afternoon on the ebb tide, any rips and sweep working in and around the inshore holes and gutters will be enhanced, so swim in patrolled areas marked by the red and yellow flags

With E/SE winds, bluebottles can be blown inshore, so check along the tide line before you go in the water, look for stinger warning signs in the patrolled areas, or ask a lifeguard if there’s been any about. If you are stung seek help from the beach patrol
