Coral trout, sweetlip and spanish mackerel in the Gutters, longtail and mack tuna in Platypus Bay, grassy sweetlip, coral trout and cod on the inshore reefs, threadfin salmon on the flats in Sandy Straits, sand whiting on the making tide along the beaches from Burrum Heads to Urangan, grunter bream at Point Vernon and mud crabs in the creeks.

Hinze Dam

The western arm is now open for recreational use.  Bass and saratoga on small plastics along the newly flooded grassy banks and bass on jerk baits close to the timbered edges.

Somerset Dam

There has been a rise in the water level since the rain and fishing has been tough. As the water levels settle fishing should improve.  You could try for bass on hard bodies trolled to 10 to 15 feet along the drop offs.

Maroon Dam

Bass and golden perch early morning on surface lures around the dam edges and during the day on suspended jerk baits and small vibration lures along the drop offs.
