MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT TILPA

The Darling River at Louth fell below the minor flood level (8.60 metres) Friday morning.

Moderate flooding continues along the Darling River at Tilpa. The flood peak has now passed Tilpa and the river level is falling.

Minor flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Wilcannia where a minor flood peak may occur late May.

The Darling River at Menindee Town is likely to remain below the minor flood level.
The Darling River at Louth fell below the minor flood level (8.60 metres) at 4:30am Friday (14/05/2021). No further flooding is expected at Louth. The Darling River at Tilpa is currently at 10.56 metres and falling, with moderate flooding. The river level at Tilpa is expected to fall below the moderate flood level (10.50 metres) Friday evening. The river level may fall below the minor flood level (9.00 metres) during Monday (17/05/2021).
