Gold Coast Waters: Cape Moreton to Point Danger

Issued at: 22/06/2017 16:19.

A complex low pressure system in the Tasman Sea will continue shifting southeast through the remainder of today and Friday, whilst a slow moving high pressure system over southeastern Australia will start to weaken. Winds and waves over southern Queensland waters will therefore decrease further as a result. Another weak high centre will likely develop over the southern Coral Sea over the weekend. A series of weak surface troughs will likely move through far southern Queensland waters during the weekend.
