Byron Coast: Point Danger to Wooli

A high pressure system over southeast Australia is the dominant synoptic feature in the region, promoting light to moderate winds along most of the coast. A fairly weak cold front looks set to arrive on the weekend as the the high decays, bringing a fresh west to southwesterly change. Following this, a new ridge is expected to extend across from the west at the start of next week, with winds again becoming light to moderate over New South Wales waters.
