A high pressure system situated over the New South Wales coast is expected to remain near-stationary during the next few days, maintaining generally southerly winds along the northern coast and northerly along the southern coast.

Seas Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore north of Yamba.
Swell Southerly 3 metres.
Swell Northeast to southeasterly around 1 metre north of Cape Byron.
Weather Mostly clear.
Caution Large and powerful surf conditions in the afternoon and evening are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
